APS TT Tune on Automatic 350Z
Another local customer of ours brought us his automatic Rev-up 350Z with the APS twin turbo kit already installed. Although he had previously been using the Haltech EMS, he gave us a visit for our tuning expertise.
With this being a car that gets daily driven for most of the year, we wanted to clean up any drivability issues and make as much reliable power as possible on our Dyno Dynamics. Despite using the automatic transmission, a TransGo valve body upgrade kit had been installed to help with shifting at these power levels.
This particular car utilized the newest public version of the Haltech software, which we have been privately testing on shop cars in previous weeks. Despite some initial hurdles from the new software, specific only to automatic models, our unmatched Haltech experience allowed us to produce nearly 390 whp between 9-10 psi. Wheel torque measured near a constant 350 throughout the entire powerband.
Between this much improved flat torque curve and constant power increase with the automatic transmission, this is one great daily driver. The fresh looking Daytona Blue paint is complemented nicely by a new Alliance big brake kit behind the popular Volk SF-Winning wheels. It’s great when the looks match the impressive power.
370Z on Phantom Edition Volk GT-S
We enjoy simple and tasteful looking cars, and this can be seen in our Nissan 370Z used for some in-house testing. Featured are Volk GT-S wheels in the Flat Black Phantom Edition color scheme. Unfortunately, this color has since been discontinued, but the flat black on Nissan’s Pearl White gives an excellent contrast that really draws attention.

New Volk G2 Wheels Have Arrived!
After finally receiving our special order of Flat Black and High Metal Bronze Volk G2 wheels from SEMA, we are proud to be one of the few authorized Volk distributors with these wheels on hand and ready to ship. Verified R35 GTR Wheel Fitments
With all of the uncertainty we have recently seen with wheel fitments on the new Nissan R35 GTR, we have decided to start a list of confirmed fitment options for a few different wheels. We have also noted our subjective opinion for how aggressive the fitment actually is. As a reminder, we recommend speaking with an authorized dealer of the wheel you’re considering before making a final purchase. Many variables should be considered with regards to optimal width and offset. These wheel fitments have been verified at one time or another on a stock ride height GTR.

Nissan GTR Wheel and Tire Packages
Last week we had the pleasure of helping a local GTR customer mount his newly purchased Volk RE30’s with Toyo R888’s in anticipation for the upcoming February 23rd track day at VIR. We decided on a 19″ wheel setup, a compromise in size to save weight and gain additional tire choices, as well as a non-staggered tire setup on staggered wheels to lessen the understeer. As an authorized Volk and Advan distributor, we are more than happy to put together a wheel and tire package featuring Toyo tires or any other brand you may be looking for. Mine’s 370Z Receives Volk G2 and Carbon Fiber
Mine’s, a popular tuner manufacturer in Japan, continues to lead the way with the development of the latest Nissan 370Z. When we last heard from them, they were flogging their 370Z around Fuji Speedway, testing new tires and suspension. Now we see that they have added a few carbon fiber upgrades to the front lip and rear spoiler, as well as a fresh set of the new Volk G2 wheels. As an authorized distributor of Mine’s, Injected Performance promises to keep interested buyers updated on the latest pricing and availability of these new parts.
Specs on the new 20″ Volk G2 wheels pictured are as follows.

The tires are Bridgestone RE050 in 255/285 sizing. We noticed they used the all-new (and more aggressive) RE-11 on the stock 19″ wheels, so we can assume that the RE-11 will probably not be offered in 20″ sizing yet. We look forward to the release of the RE-11 in the US to replace the very fast Bridgestone RE01R.

Mines Silence-VS Pro Titan II Cat Back Exhaust, which sounds similar to stock at idle but gives an aggressive tone through the powerband. Our Volk TE37s (size: 20×9.5 +25 and 20×10.5 +25) were wrapped in Dunlop SP Sport 600 DSST (front: 255/40-20, rear: 285/35-20) and the side skirts, front, and rear lips were OEM paint matched to Obsidian Black.

New Volk Wheels for the GTR
Likely the first of many aftermarket sets of wheels for our GTR, we have decided to try a set of 20″ Volk TE37. The Mercury Silver with diamond cut lip should be a nice balance of sport and luxury for our classy all-black GTR. Specs are as follows:
